The American Legion Riders of Missing in Action Post 231 were formed in 2003
with the intent of having a fun association of Americana Legion Family members who
loved to ride motorcyles. We grew very quickly and at the end of our Charter Year
had 72 members. The next year we increased to 140 members and have leveled off
to an average membership of 125 members.
We meet at the American Legion Post on the second Sunday of the month at High Noon
and welcome anyone who feels they may be interested in finding more information about us.

In 2004 we held out 1st Annual Red River Rally to benefit The Air Chaperl Ministries at
Grayson County Airport. The next year we held the event to benefit the Red Cross, the 3rd
year to benefit the Girls and Boys Club of Denison, TX. and in 2007 to benefit the 36th
Infantry Family Support Group. Each of these years we have had successful events to help out these organizations.
The American Legion Riders honor the memory of Sgt. Luke Boatright. Luke,
