It is with great sadness that I have to report that our Brother Jimmy "Lefty" Thomas has reported to the Post Everlasting. He fought the fight bravely and is now enjoying the peace and love of our Heavenly Father. He will be riding the heavens with our Brothers and Sisters who have gone before us. Rest in Peace my Brother.

A Memorial service was held on September 11th at 2 pm at the VFW7873 on the Preston Peninsula.

The American Legion Riders of MIA Post 231 were honored to accept the
award from "Nite-Life Magazine" as Humanitarian's of the Year for 2004.
